Smart clip generation.
Good short-form is not a timestamp in a trench coat. Klyph reframes, tightens, and cleans every generated clip so it plays native on a vertical feed.
§ 1
Reframing
Klyph uses face and object tracking to reframe 16:9 source into 9:16 without jitter. Multi-speaker scenes get an auto-switch between speakers timed to voice activity.
§ 2
Tightening
By default Klyph removes filler words, long pauses, and false starts — the same edit an experienced editor would make by hand. You can opt out per job.
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| remove_fillers | boolean | Strip 'um', 'uh', 'like' and analogues |
| pause_threshold_ms | number | Pauses longer than this are trimmed |
| preserve_breath | boolean | Keep breaths for natural pacing |
| max_clip_s | number | Soft cap on output duration |
§ 3
Hook generation
For every candidate, Klyph considers three alternate hooks and picks the one that best predicts retention. You can switch to any of the three inside the editor.
Tip
Write your own hook.
Override with a text prompt — Klyph will re-score candidates against your phrasing and rebuild the first three seconds.
§ 4
Aspect ratios
9:16 is default for vertical. 1:1 is available for LinkedIn and X feeds. 16:9 passes through with only tightening applied.
